About
Bring nothing and expect to buy socks. The branded-sock rule changed recently and it is now enforced even on children who arrive in perfectly good grip socks of their own, which draws more anger in the reviews than anything else here — three separate visitors call it a money grab, and one notes a tip prompt at a desk where nobody has served you anything.
Which is a pity, because the layout is genuinely well thought out. There are two spaces rather than one: a room for six-and-unders and a second pitched at four to eleven, so a mixed-age pair are not competing for the same equipment. Admission covers the whole day, you can bring your own food, and there is beer for the adults, which few places here offer.
Two cautions. Access to both sides is no longer automatic, so ask what your ticket covers. And open play runs Monday to Friday only; Saturdays and Sundays are sold to private parties, so the days most families are free are the days it is closed to walk-ins.
