What your guests get to eat is the first thing to settle in and around Woodbury, because the cheapest packages here run from a full buffet to nothing at all. Pizza Ranch in Cottage Grove feeds the party from its own buffet, and Twin City Slime at Maplewood Mall and Fun City in Maplewood both include pizza. At Slick City in Woodbury, pizza starts a package up. We Rock The Spectrum in Woodbury lets you bring your own food, while Lookout Ridge, the city's indoor playground, rules out anything homemade. For something other than a meal, Grabbit Arcade hands over its claw-machine shop, and Nowhere Entertainment in Inver Grove Heights takes the party behind the scenes of its haunted house.

Mark the first Wednesday of the month in your calendar: party dates open at ten that morning, two months ahead. The playground itself stays open to the public during your party. Up to five extra children can be added, but only before the day, and homemade food, balloons and piñatas are not allowed. Woodbury residents pay less than the price shown.
Guests must be at least five, and the party is built for children who want a challenge: a trainer takes them over the obstacles, then times them through a ninja-warrior course. The cheapest package is gym time alone; cake and presents in the party room come with the next package up. Parents who have held parties here praise the coaches, and one describes every child leaving happy and exhausted.

Read the small print on the six-child package: it buys a decorated table rather than a room, two hours of games and soft drinks, and the branch page says plainly that pizza and a party host are not included. Both come with the per-child packages. On weekends the table has to be cleared at the two-hour mark, though your guests can stay on and keep playing.
Two parents who held parties here single out having the whole gym to themselves, but that comes from the second package up, which closes the gym to the public. The five-child package runs during open play, so other families are on the equipment while you celebrate. Food is bring-your-own and has to stay out of the gym area, and parties should be booked at least two weeks ahead.
Budget past the headline figure. The park's own socks are compulsory at $4.99 a head, and on the Fun package the only refreshment is pitchers of water, because pizza starts with the Thrill package. The base booking is a reserved table. Choosing a room also raises the rate for every guest beyond ten, from $27.99 to $35.99 a head on the Fun package.
Lunch or dinner comes from the restaurant's own buffet, unlimited for the party, and reviewers keep coming back to its range: several kinds of pizza, fried chicken, a salad bar and dessert pizza. Each child also gets a loaded card for the FunZone arcade. Two adults eat within the package and any other grown-ups pay the buffet price, so count them before you book.
The package is built around a lights-on tour behind the scenes of the haunted house, showing how the sets are built and where the actors hide, which lets younger guests see it without the scares. Older ones can add more at a discounted price per child: a low-scare walkthrough the venue suggests for nine and up, escape rooms for twelve and up, mini golf or the arcade. A cake or dessert is the only food you may bring.
Reviewers return again and again to the staff at the slime bar, who explain each step patiently and step in when a batch goes wrong, and at a party one of them is your host. The slime-making class is the main event, with the sensory houses and slime walls to explore after. Parents get in free, outside food is welcome alongside the pizza, and the venue suggests booking a month ahead.
Claw machines fill this mall shop, and the package covers 80 tokens for the whole party at one token a play, with more on sale during the event. Several reviewers say staff will move prizes into easier positions inside the machines. Outside food, desserts and sealed soft drinks are allowed, and so are decorations, short of confetti, tape, tacks or nails on any surface.
Only Monday-to-Thursday parties get the price shown; from Friday to Sunday the same ten-jumper party costs $340. Parties can be booked on the day as walk-ins if there is space, but the venue warns that a host is not guaranteed for one, so book ahead if you want help with setup and cleanup. Bring decorations: you can dress the room while the children jump.
