Holding a child's birthday at a venue trades the cleanup at home for a booked package, and what that package covers differs widely from venue to venue.
The places that host parties reach well beyond playgrounds. Skating rinks, climbing gyms, trampoline parks, arcades, mini golf, play cafés and water parks all take birthday bookings, and the right fit depends mostly on the age of the guests and how much running around they want. A confident school-age crowd can handle a rink or a climbing wall; a party for a toddler usually wants a soft floor, a gated play area and a quieter room to eat in. The party pages can filter for a toddler area.
The price on each card is the venue's entry-level birthday package, shown per person or per package as the venue itself states it. We hold that figure to a test: it has to be a real birthday a parent can book, and it has to stay on offer long after we read it. A deposit, a members-only rate or a short-lived promotion does not count. Higher tiers usually add time, food or extra guests, and the venue's own page lists them in full.
Room privacy is the question worth settling first, because it shapes the whole afternoon. At some venues the party gets its own room for the booking, at others a room costs extra, some close the entire venue to the public for the event, and some seat parties at tables on the open floor beside everyone else. A card marks a private room, a room at extra cost or the whole venue where we know which applies, and otherwise says nothing about a room rather than guess.
Beyond the room, package contents vary: time on the activity, time at the table, pizza or a set menu, invitations, a host who runs the schedule, and whether guests pay separately for socks or skate rental. Duration shows on the card where the venue states it.
Each figure carries its source and date. A verified badge means a person confirmed it, by phone or by reading the venue's published terms, and gives the date. A figure taken from the venue's website names that source and the date we read it. No tax or fee is added to what the venue publishes.
The city list below leads to each party page, which covers venues in and around that city. The guides after it take up the planning questions no single venue answers.
