How verification works
Every fact on KidsVenues tells you where it came from. There are exactly three states, they look different on purpose, and nothing ever moves up a state without a person doing the work.
The three states
Verified · with date
A person confirmed this specific fact, and the badge shows when. Verification attaches to the fact, not the venue — a page can show a verified admission price next to a party price we haven't checked yet, and the two will look different.

We read this from the venue's own website on the date shown, but no person has confirmed it since. It's the venue's claim, accurately dated — treat it as a good starting point and confirm before you rely on it.
Not yet verified
We don't know. We show this instead of guessing, and instead of hiding the gap. If a detail matters for your visit, call the venue.
How a fact gets verified
Three ways, and the badge tells you which where it matters:
- By phone. We called the venue and asked. These badges say "Verified by phone".
- Evidence review. A person read the venue's own published pricing or policy and confirmed what our listing says, on the date shown.
- By the owner. The venue's owner or manager confirmed the fact with us directly.
Sensory hours
Sensory-friendly sessions are the one detail where a wrong answer causes real harm to a family's visit, so we hold them to the strictest rule on the site: a sensory schedule displays only after it has been verified. Until then the listing says "not yet verified" — even when we have unconfirmed information.
Ratings
Star ratings and review counts shown on KidsVenues are Google review scores, displayed for reference and labelled as such. They are not our ratings and we don't adjust them.
Spotted something wrong?
Prices and hours change. If a venue you know has moved on from what we show, we want to hear it — venue owners can also verify their own listing. See For venues.
