About
Longtime visitors mark a before and after at the change of ownership. They are warm about what the new owners have added — themed events through the year, a midweek free slushie, visible upgrades — and consistent that the cleaning has slipped since. Dust sitting on the play structure, dress-up clothes nobody has washed, a smell in the seating area that more than one parent found hard to sit in.
The draws are specific, and children name them without being asked. There is a tree house with a slide that regulars insist is not like any other in town, and a sand pit that is the highlight of most reviews written by parents of small children. The sand is also the catch: it travels into the ball pool and hangs in the air, and a couple of reviewers suggest air purifiers rather than removal. Under-fives get the most out of it, and there is a lot crammed into the floor space, which is a plus at that age and a crush at busier times. One entry covers the whole day and a hand stamp lets you leave and come back, so a morning visit, a nap and a second run is how regulars use it.
