One thing to settle before you drive over: whether one of the gym's own daytime programs is on the floor while you are there. Two visitors five months apart describe the same scene, a group of very young children from the preschool and daycare sessions using the equipment alongside drop-in families with supervision both of them found thin, one stepping in repeatedly herself. That is an arrangement rather than an incident, and it matters most if your child is older and moving fast.
Ask about it in those words, because opening hours are a different question. One of those two called the day before, asked whether any classes were scheduled, and was told there were none.
The rest is why families cross the city for it. The whole premise of the franchise is that a child with autism and a child without belong on the same equipment, which is what makes it work for a sibling group in a way a soft-play room does not. Suspended swings, crash mats, a zip line and a trampoline are here to help a child settle rather than to tire one out, and there is a craft corner. The building is small for the quantity of kit packed into it, which is the other half of the crowding question. It changed hands not long ago and the reviews written since are markedly warmer about how present the owners are.
