Bring the whole age range and it will hold. Bowling lanes, go-karts and laser tag sit under the same roof as a three-level soft play structure with a toddlers' corner and two foam pits, so a fourteen-year-old and a three-year-old can both be occupied without either one being bored or flattened. There is a donut slide, a set of racing slides, a dodgeball zone, a sports court, trampolines and an arcade with ticket redemption — and, a detail parents notice, massage chairs for whoever is not playing.

The front desk is what lets it down. Three separate visitors describe versions of the same thing: staff deep in conversation with each other, slow to help when asked, or short about it. Several also report that grip socks from other parks are refused and you have to buy the branded pair on the way in, so factor that in rather than arriving with a bag from somewhere else.

It is a big, loud room running long hours seven days a week, which makes it one of the more dependable options when the afternoon outside is unusable. A visitor from thirty miles out says the drive is the only thing that stopped them buying a membership. Treat it as a family entertainment centre that happens to contain a real playground, rather than the other way round, and it delivers.
