Open play and open art time run alongside each other through the day, so a toddler in the messy-play area and an older sibling at a table with materials are both catered for at once — which is more than most rooms this size attempt.
It runs on credits rather than admission: a membership buys a number each month, with open play costing one and classes costing two. Programming goes well beyond small children, from sensory sessions for the youngest through themed kids' club evenings to teen gatherings and adult workshops.
It is new and has only a handful of reviews so far, all of them positive but too few to draw a pattern from. Walk-ins are taken and socks are required. Treat what is written here as a description of what the place offers rather than a verdict on how it delivers — that will take another season of reviews.
