About
The thing reviewers keep returning to is the food, which is not how these places usually go. The soft pretzels get named by three separate visitors and the rice krispie treats by two more, several of them before they get round to mentioning the play structure at all. It is a small tell about the whole design: sightlines across the floor, somewhere decent to sit, and an afternoon built for the adult as much as the child.
It is built for tens and under, and over-twelves are barred from playing at all — a deliberate line that parents of little ones say they chose it for. The recent reports show that line under strain. Two visitors on the same day, plainly not together, one a member cancelling after a long happy run and one a first-time family paying full price, describe the same afternoon: no staff anywhere but the front counter and the food court, age-marked zones with bigger kids in them, and nobody enforcing the two-hour session the ticket sold you. Three others describe upkeep drifting from where it was when the place opened — a ball pit needing a refill, balls and equipment left lying across the floor.
Superplay puts a live traffic meter on its own website, which is the most useful thing here: check it before you drive over, because a calm floor and a crowded one are the difference between the age zones holding and not. It also publishes an unusually frank note saying it cannot promise an illness-free environment and asking families to keep visibly sick children home. All sales are final, passes included.
