The venue puts its own range at two to eleven and, unusually, the reviews bear out both ends. A fourteen-month-old is reported crawling the obstacle courses; a seven-year-old came along with a three-year-old sibling and spent his time on the arcade rather than the soft play. That is the shape of the place — a small-child playroom with a games-and-prizes corner bolted on and a toy shop attached, so the older one has somewhere to go when the climbing runs out. What everyone says, in one form or another, is that it holds far more than its footprint should allow: small rides, intricate climbing structures, a ball pit, a big slide, obstacle courses low enough to crawl. A regular who has been coming since she moved into the neighborhood puts it best — so many things packed into a small space.
Two things a member raised are worth knowing before you go. A television plays in the room, and she had asked for it off; the room is stimulating enough without one and staff will switch it off if asked, so ask on arrival rather than an hour in. And there is nowhere to refill a water bottle — what is sold is small and dear, so bring your own.
