Open Kids Playground

About

Opinion splits sharply here, and not over the equipment, which reviewers agree on. For its size the room is genuinely well kitted out: a large ball pit with tubes that fire the balls back out, a ball cannon aimed at a projector game, a piano slide, climbing structures, playhouses, ride-on toys, oversized foam building blocks and a trampoline. Reviewers call it clean again and again, and more than one found it uncrowded.

The disagreement is about what the staff will step into. Two visitors a week apart describe older children playing roughly around toddlers and being left to it, with the desk pointing at the signed waiver rather than intervening. Read together those two read as a settled position rather than one bad shift, and if you are bringing a baby or a two-year-old on a busy afternoon, that is the thing to think about.

Whatever else you do, call before setting off. Two families on consecutive days found it closed hours before the time its website gave, and one says the hours on the front door are wrong too.
