Four separate reviewers raise the same slide, and three of them come back to the mats. One watched a child pick up slide burn; another counted several kids tipping forward partway down; and one points out that nobody explains how the mats work on the way in. Ask at the desk, watch the first run, and it stops being a problem. Skip it and it is what you will be holding the ice pack for.

Everything around that is straightforward and rather likeable. The room is new and clean, and two reviewers warn that it is smaller than its own social media suggests, while a third thinks the size is ideal. Equipment is restricted to two- to twelve-year-olds and over-twelves are kept off it entirely, so nobody's teenager comes barrelling through, and one reviewer puts the sweet spot at six to ten. Reaching the slide means climbing a zig-zag frame carrying a mat, which the smallest children find genuinely hard work. Two parents separately describe staff going out of their way for a child who was struggling, in one case turning the music down without being asked. One parent found the adult chairs hard enough to dock a star for, so this is a stay-and-watch room rather than a sit-with-a-coffee one.
