About
Nowhere else in the city attaches a performing arts program to the play space. It now runs under a non-profit theatre school that absorbed it, and the movement, music and storytelling sessions on the calendar are free to drop-in visitors as well as members, so a two-year-old can spend an hour in a nature-themed play zone and then sit through something structured without a second ticket.
Be aware that you are reading reviews of a different business. The listing still carries the old name and almost every review under it predates the handover, complaints included. The room has been rebuilt since, so a hygiene grievance from two operators ago tells you very little about what you would walk into now, and there is not yet much of a record about what replaced it.
The hard limit is age. Five and under, with the play areas closed to older children outright, so this is not the answer for a group that includes a seven-year-old. Working in its favor: a ground-floor entrance with room to park a double-wide stroller, seating arranged so an adult can watch the floor and get some work done, and a discounted parking arrangement nearby, which in this part of town is the detail that decides things.
