Regulars going back a decade still speak warmly of it, but the recent accounts are consistent and specific: inflatables patched with duct tape, others leaking air or holed, arcade machines that take a card and do nothing, party rooms too hot to sit in, and staff on their phones. A visitor on a school trip described the bathrooms in terms not worth repeating.

The price is the counterweight and it is a real one — the cheapest admission on this page by some distance, with adults free and no time limit.

So the honest verdict is that it depends what you want from an hour. For a young child who mostly wants to bounce, on a weekday when it is empty, the value is hard to argue with. For a birthday party, or on a Saturday afternoon, the reviews are warning you and have been for a while.
