About
A tall seven-year-old and a small ten-year-old will have completely different afternoons here, because the gates are measured in inches rather than in years. Indoor play stops at fifty-two inches, the outdoor jungle climb at sixty, and the ninja warrior course takes all comers. The practical upshot is that the youngest visitors get the most out of the building: an older child loses the indoor frame first, then the outdoor climb, and is left with the ninja course and the golf.
Which is the honest description of the place — a themed mini-golf park with a playground attached, rather than the other way round. The reviews bear it out. Most of them are about the courses, the landscaping and the dinosaurs, and the play frame barely gets a mention. There is a snack shack, a bar inside that will handle simple food and drink orders, and Bible verses on the walls that a family who have come here for years single out approvingly.
Plan around queuing. Two reviewers describe the same problem from opposite ends of a course: a large group that will not wave smaller parties through, leaving three or four of them stacked at one hole in ninety-degree sun. Weekends run close to three times busier than weekdays and it does not fill until late morning, so a weekday before lunch is the version of this place with an empty course in front of you. Everyone on the property signs a waiver, including anyone who came only to putt.
