About
Toddlers, and the adults who bring them week after week, are who this room is for. One parent has brought a fifteen-month-old once or twice a week since she could walk; another brings a toddler for an hour instead of a park in the heat; a nanny comes every Thursday, and the child in their care has made a friend she meets there. The first of them puts the layout well: big enough that there is plenty to play with, small and open enough to keep the child in sight from wherever you sit or stand.
One member of staff turns up in review after review, coloring, playing music and dancing with the children, and wiping down the toys in between. Reviewers also describe slides, climbing structures and a pretend-play village, and a regular of two years mentions seasonal events.
Memberships come up often, and one member raises a small catch: the membership still charges for a second adult, so a partner or grandparent who joins you pays at the door. This is the Upland branch; a second Little Village runs in San Dimas, so check which one you are booking.

Count the grown-ups before you count the children. The places in the cheapest package cover adults and children together, so a class-sized guest list with parents attached outgrows it quickly, and each extra guest is charged per head. Outside food carries a flat fee, the deposit is lost if you cancel inside a week, and you get fifteen minutes beforehand to set up.
