A set of small connected rooms in soft pastels with a Montessori lean — one visitor called it a museum feel — and a ball pit and low slides rather than anything to climb hard. The venue puts its own ceiling at six and the room is plainly built to it: this suits the child who plays over the child who charges. A parent brought a fifteen-month-old and found it pitched exactly right; a seven-year-old, at the other end of the range, also refused to leave.
The layout is the practical point. Because the space is broken into small areas rather than laid out as one floor, a parent can sit down and still have eyes on two children heading in opposite directions — three separate reviewers give that as the reason they keep coming back.
Two things worth asking about at the desk. A month of unlimited open play is sold as a pass, and a regular calls it the thing that makes the place worth it once a child starts asking to come back. And character sessions are a fixture rather than an occasional event — one mother's point about them is that they save her the drive to a theme park for a photograph.
