About
Read the closure complaints before anything else. Families describe arriving with a confirmed reservation or a paid membership to find the space closed for a private event — one lists four such closures inside three weeks, another was emailed five minutes before her slot, and both describe leaving with children in tears. Notice has historically gone out on Instagram alone, and the venue only recently had a phone number. If you book here, confirm on the morning.
Which is a shame, because the space itself is well liked. It is bigger than the Paulus Hook frontage suggests, zoned into a pretend grocery, a vet and a cafe, with a separate soft-play corner for babies who are not walking yet and no screens anywhere, which parents single out approvingly. Weekday mornings are quiet and it is genuinely lovely then.
Two other things belong in an honest summary. Reviewers report specific safety problems — a slide landing in the middle of foot traffic, holes in the floor, tools left within reach during construction carried out in opening hours — and separate reviewers describe a persistent odor and a ball pit needing a clean. And a customer who sent private feedback received an email from an owner that she then published in full; a manager later apologized for it. Read the recent reviews yourself before buying a membership.
