About
Two hours means two hours here, and a member of staff comes round to check. A visitor describes him walking the floor asking what time each family came in — hard to miss in a room this small, and a different tone from the open-ended afternoons elsewhere in this city. Reviewers do not even agree on what the ticket buys: one says two hours is plenty, one wished for longer, one describes three hours with an adult included, and one bought an unlimited pass. Ask at the desk rather than assuming, and bring grip socks, which cost extra at the door.
Within whatever time you get, it is well liked and cheap for what it is — a small Koreatown room that a local reviewer was simply grateful exists, bright and well organized, with a sensory area floored in rocks that one experienced parent had never seen in an indoor playground before, and staff who get down and play rather than watch.
Three practical notes. Adult seating is toddler-sized, so this is not a place to sit and work. Parking is free and scarce. And the unit is reached by a lift, on a stretch of street one reviewer found less inviting than the room itself. On cleanliness most reviews say very clean, but two, eleven months apart, describe uncleaned toys, wet towels left on the ball pit and water dripping from the air conditioning — worth a look on the way in. The children actually described here run from a three-year-old who needed watching to an eight-year-old who lasted three hours.
