Plan this one a fortnight out. Open play dates are posted two weeks ahead and sold online, they do sell out, and the calendar is broken up by a midweek closure for private therapy and a weekend one for private events, so the days you can simply turn up are fewer than you would guess. There is a staffing rule as well, one adult for every five children, and groups of ten or more counting adults have to call first or risk being turned away at the door.

The room itself is a genuine surprise for the neighborhood. A zip line fitted with a Tarzan seat and an ADA seat, a roller coaster car, a projected interactive floor, ball pits, a separate sensory room and an art room, all on one accessible level with ramps and adapted bathrooms. A parent whose son has speech therapy nearby noticed something no other review in the city mentions: the sound is kept at a comfortable level, which is not the norm.

That is not an accident. Occupational, physical and speech therapists work out of the same building, and a good share of the reviews come from families who are there for both. The weak point is the party side, where two separate hosts describe emails and voicemails going unanswered in the run-up, one badly enough to derail the setup on the morning. Book play with confidence and chase harder for a party.
