Kangamoo Indoor Playground

About

Admission is sold for children from one to ten, and for parents of toddlers that age range is the whole argument. Older siblings and adults come in free with a paying child. Reviewers with small children say it directly: there is nobody big enough to flatten a two-year-old, so they can put their phone down. A mother of a seventeen-month-old describes foam floors and foam climbing shapes that let her daughter take a few risks without being shadowed every step.

Inside it is broader than the name suggests. Trampolines and a climbing frame sit at one end, playhouses, dress-up, ride-on cars and a drawing corner at the other, so a child who is not a climber still gets a day out of it. The coffee is free, and one reviewer singles it out. It backs onto an airstrip, and some families finish by watching planes from the parking lot.

Cleanliness is the split verdict and it is a sharp one. Reviews calling it the cleanest they use sit directly beside reviews describing crusted dirt in the crawl shapes and sticky, discolored floors. Walk in and judge it yourself. It takes cards only, and while Sunday afternoon is its own busiest window, the gap between weekday and weekend here is unusually narrow.
