Nobody who writes about this Mt. Greenwood playroom disagrees about who it is for, and the range is narrow. Babies, new walkers and children up to about four are the whole audience — soft play and a bounce house rather than anything to climb — and the space is compact enough that nobody gets flattened by a bigger kid. Several grandparents make that exact point.

It is owner-run and the reviews read that way. Cooking classes for littles run alongside open play, party bookings come with backdrops and centrepieces arranged in advance, and cameras cover the play area, which more than one parent mentions approvingly. Adults can sit within arm's reach of all of it. This is the far South Side, a long way from where the rest of these venues cluster. Midweek it can be genuinely empty — one family had the whole floor to themselves at lunchtime on a weekday — so if your child is easily overwhelmed, that is the visit to plan for rather than a weekend.
