Three separate visitors make the same point about the climbing structure, and it decides whether this is worth your morning: it is tall, and it is not built for an adult to follow a child up into. One describes a three-year-old frightened by most of it, another puts the floor at about three, and a third warns off anyone whose child will not climb alone. If yours will not go up without you, you will be watching from the ground.
For everyone else it is a good deal. This is a large multi-level playground in the lobby of a working church, open to anybody whether or not they attend, with a cafe at one end selling coffee and the sort of food children actually eat. Visitors describe checking in at the desk and being handed a key, and several name that controlled entry as the reason the place feels safe, though one would still like the stairway better fenced off from the smallest children. Weekday mornings only, and the church asks you to call ahead because the space gets given over to events at short notice. The cafe keeps shorter hours than the playground does.

The attached cafe is a paid counter and reviewers report it usually closes around 2pm and has been shut some Fridays.
