About
Toddlers and teenagers both get their own ticket here. Ones to fives have a toddler pass covering the adventure maze, the trampolines, the inflatable obstacle course and a handful of the interactive games rather than the whole park, and a separate toddler zone is kept for four and under. At the other end, Friday nights run glow sessions and Saturday nights a dance party for thirteen and up. In between, height sets the limits: a child over 42 inches can use every attraction, while laser tag and the tag arena have height restrictions that shorter kids won't meet.
Admission is sold by the clock rather than the day, and an extra hour can be bought once you're inside, so there is no need to over-commit at the desk. The virtual-reality ride costs extra on top of any pass.
Birthday parties draw the warmest reviews, with the hosts who run them praised again and again for keeping a room of kids organized and the parents free to enjoy it. Park on the second level of the garage off Transverse Drive, which the venue itself recommends as the closest way in.

Birthday Parties
Don't expect a host at your child's elbow. Empire runs its parties as free play: apart from one private laser tag or dodgeball game, the children roam attractions that stay open to the public, and the host may not be with them the whole time. A guided host costs extra. One guardian per child comes free and other adults pay, and outside food is limited to cold sandwiches and salads, for a fee.
