You can walk the whole thing in twenty minutes, and plenty of visitors have. That is the complaint that comes up most and it is worth taking seriously, because it is priced like a longer outing and charges the full rate for a two-year-old. Go in expecting an attraction rather than a play session and the math changes.

What earns it is the animatronics, which are better than the category usually manages. Children can pet the dinosaurs, sit on them and brush their teeth, and there is a dig pit and a socks-required soft play zone tucked in alongside. A dinosaur-obsessed three-to-seven-year-old will stretch it to a couple of hours and talk about it afterward; an older child who came expecting a theme park will not. It is compact, so it cramps as soon as it fills — late morning through mid-afternoon on a Saturday is its own busiest stretch, and going outside that window is the single best thing you can do for the visit. If you are booking a party, read the guest count carefully: every member of your own family counts toward it, which surprises people.
