Two separate reviewers describe being told at the front desk that a second adult didn't need a pass, then having management overrule the desk in front of them — by both accounts, rudely. Past that, this is an enormous room by Manhattan standards — reviewers reach for that word — and it behaves like it: several rooms across two floors, mazes, and the interactive jumping games that reviews name more often than anything else. The café is a real one. Parents mention proper meals rather than vending-machine snacks, and interactive tables that hold kids still long enough to actually eat. Grip socks are required and sold at the desk, so bring your own.

The age range runs wider than most Manhattan play spaces — one-year-olds and eight-year-olds both turn up happy in reviews — which makes it a rare fit for siblings several years apart. The trade-off is volume. This is a run-and-shout room, not a quiet one, and a toddler who rattles easily will do better in one of the smaller uptown spaces.
