About

Built as one of the chain's large-format rebuilds, this branch draws a reviewer who tours them into ranking it with the biggest in the city. That scale is the appeal. The problem is that several recent visitors describe a building not being kept up to the size of the promise.

The specifics repeat across separate reviews: games that swallow points from the pass without playing, machines missing pieces, air conditioning that cannot cope in August, no water fountains anywhere so a drink has to be bought, and restrooms that one long and detailed account found genuinely filthy. Customer service comes up as often as the equipment does.

None of that stops children enjoying it, and plenty of reviews say exactly that. But between the two Bronx branches this is the one carrying the heavier complaints, so if either is equally convenient, that is a real reason to choose. Weekdays are noticeably calmer than weekends here, which several parents mention as the way to make it work.
