About

Dead machines come up twice in eight days, and one of the two accounts puts them where they hurt most. The first counts a lot of games not working and a ball game with balls that were hard to throw and some of them missing; the second says specifically that it was the games and rides for the littlest ones that were out of order. That reads as a maintenance pattern rather than one bad afternoon, and it lands harder here than it would elsewhere, because a three-year-old cannot simply walk to the next machine the way a nine-year-old can.

The mascot is the other expectation to manage. Two families describe waiting out a long stretch of an afternoon for a costumed appearance that either never came at all or lasted about ten minutes. If the character is the reason your child wants to be here, ask at the counter when the next walk-round is due before you buy anything.

Both of those trace back to the same cause, and reviewers name it without prompting: there are not enough people on the floor. Slow check-in, long lines at the counter, and a visitor who read the counter staff as simply bored. Set against it, the building itself does well — clean, restrooms included, food better than anyone expects, and more play floor than most of the chain runs, with a trampoline zone and a superhero climbing structure alongside the games. Both of those are sold on top of general admission. Saturday from early afternoon into the evening is its heaviest stretch, and midweek is a noticeably calmer version of the same room.
