A group of children aged three to nine all had a good time here on one visit, which is the hardest thing for a room this size to pull off and the clearest reason to put it on a list. Parents of two-year-olds and of eight-year-olds turn up in the reviews in roughly equal number, and nobody describes either end running out of things to do.
Cleanliness is the other constant, mentioned in almost every recent review, bathrooms included, along with a room that does not smell — not a given on this page. Face painting is thrown in at no charge.
The party operation will come to your house if you would rather, and one family whose autistic son has sensory sensitivities described the whole staff joining the parade, managing the cake and handing over a plush toy at the end. Sunday mornings run close to empty; weekend afternoons are about twice as busy as a weekday.
