What it actually is, in a phrase several reviewers reach for independently, is an escape room on steroids: a run of timed challenge rooms ending in a paint cannon, which is why every recommendation arrives with a warning about getting messy. Grown-up groups and work outings dominate the write-ups, and children appear in them mostly as birthday guests. Read the score with some care, too. A large share of the five-star entries land in clusters minutes apart, one line each, which is the signature of being asked on the way out rather than of anyone sitting down to write.

Birthday Parties
Booking the birthday package rather than plain mission tickets buys a fixed two-part slot: the challenge rooms first, in hazmat suits and ending in a blast of paint, foam or slime, then the arcade bay. No party room comes with it, so cake and presents happen out on the floor with everyone else. With younger guests an adult has to play on the team rather than spectate.
