About

Bring a preschooler and you will spend the afternoon watching other people's teenagers have fun. The karts carry height and age minimums, and so does the laser tag, which leaves the youngest visitors with the arcade and not a great deal else. This is the teen-and-adult end of Orlando's indoor options — electric karting, bowling, a 7D motion theater and a VR arena wrapped around a full bar and restaurant. Parents bringing nine- and ten-year-olds and up describe exactly the birthday they hoped for. Parents bringing preschoolers describe an expensive arcade.

One money lesson comes up repeatedly: buy a package rather than loading a card. A parent of two young children reported a hundred dollars of arcade credit lasting about half an hour, and a regular visiting with three boys works out that the bundled passes beat paying for each attraction separately. Both are describing the same trap from opposite ends.

On timing, the reviews and the venue's own traffic data agree, which does not happen often. A father of three advises arriving before four on a weekday and well before two at a weekend; the measured crush runs from late afternoon into the evening, and the calmest stretch is the first couple of hours after opening. Come then, or come with older children, and the place makes a great deal more sense than its reputation as a family destination suggests.
