About

A three-year-old and a fifteen-year-old can both be busy here, but not in the same hour. The small children's end is Airtots, a gated soft-play area with lower structures and its own slides, and the park runs Toddler Time on weekday mornings, which happens to be when the whole building is calmest. It stays quiet until around eleven and then climbs steadily through the afternoon, peaking late on Saturdays at more than twice a typical weekday.

Everything else is built for children who want to throw themselves at something, and there is a great deal of it: trampolines, dodgeball, a ninja course, a warped wall, a climbing wall, gel blaster and laser tag, all under one roof with the noise that implies. Airtots is a corner of that. Not half of it. A family split across the age range should plan around the older child's session and treat the toddler zone as somewhere to retreat to, rather than the other way round.

Two things to settle before you leave the house. Everyone who steps onto the activity floor signs a waiver. Parents who only intend to watch are included in that, so allow a few minutes at the desk. And only the park's own grip socks are permitted; socks from anywhere else are refused at the door. They are sold at check-in and are meant to be kept and reused, which is worth knowing before you pay for a second pair.
